Lydia Smith Nedrow, age 82, of Uniontown, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 22, 1941 in Outcrop, daughter of the late Raymond Smith and Macel Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold P. Nedrow, Jr., son, Harold R. Nedrow; brothers, Willard, Morgan and Douglas Nedrow and sisters, Ruth Ford and Audrey Brownfield.
Lydia enjoyed gardening, working on the dairy farm and enjoyed raising her children.
Left to cherish Lydia’s memory are her daughter, Cynthia Nedrow; brothers, Frank Smith (Sherry) of Piedmont, WV, Randy Smith of Uniontown and John Smith (Barbara) of Uniontown; sisters, Macellee Moccaldi of Shoaf, Kathy Manges of Shoaf and Jean Nunnery of Canton, NC and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the FERGUSON-BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 78 Main St., Smithfield, PA where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 25th from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a service celebrating Lydia’s life at 11:00 AM with Pastor Justin McCabli. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
