Terry D. Carter, age 59, of Uniontown, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in Laurel Ridge Center. He was born December 7, 1963 in Enid, OK son of Jean Ella Hoyt and the late Richard Donald Carter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Highfill.
Terry worked in maintenance for LaPata Company. He enjoyed NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish Terry’s memory are his wife, Heather Carter; sons, Rien Carter of Bethany, OK and Richard Carter (Sierra) of Uniontown; daughters, Terri Hoyt (Jeff) of Fairchance, Presley Carter of Uniontown and Halie Carter of New Salem; brother Ronald Dwayne Carter of Madesto, CA and eleven grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Friday, October 20th from 4 until 6 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Terry’s life with Rev. Dr. Mac Reed officiating. Interment will be private.
