William R. Mrosko, age 74 of Uniontown, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in his home. He was born Continental #2, PA, to Michael Mrosko and Mary Sassak Mrosko. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by a infant brother and infant sister and sister, Marlene Rusko.
Bill graduated from Fairchance – Georges High School with the class of 1968. He enlisedt in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. Bill was a welder for the E.W. Bowman for over forty-nine years and a member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholich Church. He enjoyed playing music, especially with the Velvatones. Gardening, being in mountains and spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his wife, Helen Estocko Mrosko; children, Lisa Ripple and husband Loy of Bastrop, TX, Jennifer Charcalla and husband Randy of Fort Mills, SC and Michael Mrosko of Monessen, PA; grandchildren, Tekoa Westmoreland, Amber Westmoreland, Gavin Charcella and Riley Charcalla; sister, Shirley Stitcheck and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. A memorial Divine Liturgy celebrating Bill’s life will be held in Saint John Byzantine Catholic Church on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
