Rosemary J. Atwater Winning, 97 of Uniontown, went to be with Our Lord, August 13, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born February 9, 1925 in Titusville, PA, the daughter of Clyde Atwater and Gladys Armstrong Atwater. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years James W. Winning, Jr.; a son, James W. Winning, III; a brother, Clyde William Atwater and a sister Katherine Hutchison. She is survived by a son, Mark E. (Roxann) Winning; A grandson, Wesley M. Winning; A granddaughter, Jena R. Winning RN, A daughter in law Hilda Winning; A grandson Brent Winning; Granddaughters, Melinda S. (Josh) Smith; and Jamie L. (Alan) Coleman; Greatgrandchildren, Zachary, Sarah and Elijah Jordan; and Ellarie Coleman. We also would like to thank the staff at Lafayette Manor and Beechwood court for their amazing service.
Rosemary was a graduate of Uniontown High School with the class of 1943. She was homemaker and affiliated with her husband at Region Buick Co. Rosemary was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed Traveling, Gardening, Cooking and family gatherings and most of all her Sons, Grandchildren and Greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematories, Inc, 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, where family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 until 4 PM and 6 until 8 PM. Viewing will continue in the funeral home on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10 until 11 AM followed by a service celebrating Rosemary’s life at 11 AM with Rev. Terry Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
