Reynold E. Bell, age 77, of Uniontown passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He was born September 1, 1946 in Uniontown son of the late Anthony (Tony) Bell and Frances Germi Bell. In addition to his parents, Reynold is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Filmeck) Bell in August 2019 and brother Ronald Bell.
Reynold was a 1964 graduate of Uniontown High School. He served with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He worked at J.C. Penney, Famous Supply and recently at Apothecare Pharmacy, who he regarded as extended family. Reynold enjoyed gardening and gifting his friends and neighbors with vegies and fruit.
Left to cherish Reynold’s memory are his brothers Harold Bell (Jean) and Donald Bell (Dolores) both of Uniontown; sisters Mary Jane Slamecka (Jerry) of Butler and Dawnel Nanney (Charles) of Shelby, NC. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. A funeral mass celebrating Reynold’s life will be held Friday, February 23rd at 10:00 at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
