Omeda J. Thorpe Deeds, age 67, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born April 16, 1956 in Uniontown, daughter of the late Robert Thorpe and Ethel A. Hart Thorpe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Randy Thorpe, Robert Thorpe, John Thorpe, Tony Thorpe, Ricky Thorpe and Kevin Thorpe.
Omeda was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Moose Lodge #20 Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and being a caretaker. Her greatest joy was being a grandma and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish Omeda’s memory are her husband of 42 years, Michael T. Deeds, Jr.; sons, Steven Deeds and Michael Deeds both of Uniontown; daughters, Carlita Deeds and Kimberly A. Deeds both of Uniontown; brothers, Jerald Thorpe (Wendy) and Charlie Thorpe (Linda) of Uniontown; sisters Leatha Thorpe, Karen Phillips, Jacquelyn Thorpe and Brenda Thorpe all of Uniontown and four grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 18th from 3 until 5 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Omeda’s life at 5:00 PM with Rev. Jim Gear officiating
