John E. “Jeb” Burkholder, 57 years, of Uniontown and formerly of Fairchance, died unexpectedly in his home on February 26, 2023. He was born February 24, 1966 in Connellsville, the son of Monica Pizzichetta Burkholder of Connellsville. John is preceded in death by his nephew, Ryan Burkholder; two brothers, Brian and Ronald Burkholder, and sister, Susan Burkholder Turner.
He graduated from Laurel Highlands High School with the Class of 1984. He worked in construction for many years. John enjoyed going camping, playing pool and cards and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by daughter, Peyton Burkholder, son Jacob Burkholder and their mother, Tammy, all of Fairchance; brother, David ‘Moe” Burkholder and wife, Doris, of Dawson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St. Uniontown, PA 15401, where friends may be received on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 4 until 6 PM followed by a celebration of John’s life at 6 PM.
