Janet R. Czerwinsky Borris, age 81, of Hiller, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born in Brownsville, PA on November 29, 1941, daughter of the late Henry Czerwinsky and Margaret Vrable Czerwinsky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Czerwinsky.
Janet was a 1959 graduate of Brownsville High School. She was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville.
Left to cherish Janet’s memory are her son James R. “Rick” Borris and wife, Tiffany of Grindstone; a sister, Alice Kapel of Hiller; a niece, Cynthia Behary and husband Robert of Meadowlands, PA and two great nephews, Robert Behary and Connor Behary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA, where the family will receive friends on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 1 until 3 PM and 5 until 7 PM followed by a blessing service celebrating Janet’s life at 7 PM with Father Andrew Hamilton as celebrant.
