Gladys A. Hearn, age 85, of Smithfield, PA died peacefully, Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Point Manor Personal Care Home, Point Marion. She was born August 2, 1934 in Point Marion, PA, the daughter of Lonnie Hearn and Verma Wood Hearn. In addition to her parents Gladys was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-laws, Ray and Margaret Hearn and Donald and Grace Hearn.
Gladys enjoyed taking care of her home, her family and her garden.
Left to cherish Gladys’s memory are her brother, Francis “Joe” Hearn; two sisters, Louise Daniel of Dillner, PA and Maxine Smith and husband Harry of Fairchance, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to FERGUSON-BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 78 Main Street, Smithfield, PA where family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. Viewing will continue in the funeral home Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 10 until 11 AM followed by a celebration of Gladys’s life at 11 AM with Pastor Cole Osbourne officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield.
