Deborah Jean Callahan

Deborah Jean Callahan, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 25th, 2022 at the age of 67.

Deborah was born on February 6th, 1955 to Virginia (Stockton) and Rudy Kazimer of Uniontown, PA. Deborah was raised with 4 brothers, Rudy Jr, Johnny, Rick and Bobby. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were brothers Rudy Kazimer Jr, Johnny Kazimer, and Rick Kazimer.

A graduate of Laurel Highlands High School, Deborah went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her true calling as a caregiver was evident in both her work and home life. She was especially fond of her husband, Dennis. Through thick and thin, one thing you could always count on was a latenight snack between the two of them. There wasn’t a single thing on this earth she wouldn’t have done for her man and everyone knew it.

She was also the mother of two sons, Kurt and Joshua. Raising them to be strong, kind, and educated men was one of her greatest accomplishments. Nothing made her happier than hearing about a new success story or passion from one of her boys.

Deborah was also a loving grandmother to all five of her grandchildren. Nothing could put a smile on her face like her grandbabies. Always finding little notes to the grandkids in their things after a visit was a constant reminder of the love she held for them.

As an avid gardener, cook, and baker, there was always something that smelled and tasted delicious in her kitchen, where she welcomed everyone.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband Dennis McBeth, her sons Kurt Callahan (Tonya) and Joshua Callahan (Faith), her brother Bobby Kazimer as well as her grandchildren, Lexi Callahan, Leah Callahan, Jaxon Callahan, Teagann Callahan, and Kamreigh Callahan.

Although gone from us here on earth, there will never be a day when she’s not thought of and missed.

We love you always.
