David James Mock, 52, of Monongahela, PA, passed away at his home unexpectedly on, February 4, 2022. He was born in Johnstown, PA on September 14, 1969, the son of the late James A. Mock and Jean Wonders Mock of Johnstown, PA. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Jean Mock.
David attended Richland High School and after high school he went on to a vocational college, where he became a certified Welder. He loved spending time with his family especially his children, his children were his life. David loved talking walks, going to the beach for vacations, he loved music, and enjoyed spending time in nature.
Left to cherish David’s memory are his wife of 23 years Heidi Ann Mock; his mother, Jean Wonders Mock of Johnstown, PA; one son, Joseph James Mock of Monongahela, PA; three daughters, Erin Genaux and husband Chris of Hinesville, GA, Elizabeth Anne Granato and husband Jonathan of Allenport, PA, and Susan Jean Mock of Charlerio, PA; two sisters, Mary Catherine Rager and husband Mark of Johnstown, PA, and Laura Ann Lukac and husband Stephen of Uniontown; two Grandchildren, Madison Granato, and Ezekiel Granato.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA 15401, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4 PM until 6 PM. Followed by a service at 6 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Don Henderson officiating. Interment will be private per family request.
