David Ewart Jordan, age 86, of Uniontown, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024. He was born December 17, 1937 in Adah, PA, son of the late Charles Jordan and Ethel Ewart Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Hauger.
David was a graduate of German Township High School and Bob Jones University. He received his Masters Degree from California University. David taught 6th grade at Mt. Lebanon School in Pittsburgh, PA. He taught for 30+ years and after retirement, he enjoyed working as a landscaper for several people in this community. David loved sports, his cars/trucks and NASCAR and traveled to various NASCAR races. He has lived in the Masontown and Uniontown area most of his life and he attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and Jacobs Lutheran Church.
David leaves behind his nephew Bryan Canterbury and wife Stacey; niece, Leanne Neumann and husband Tim and their son, great nephew, Colby.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, Inc., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA. David will be laid to rest at a private family gathering at a later date.

We met your relative when we were looking for someone to care for our rather large lawn shortly after we moved into our new home. An ad in the Herald Standard caught my attention and my husband called the individual who had placed it. When Dave arrived, the two of them walked our yard and discussed what needed to be done.
