Carolyn Lee Riggle Porter, age 84, of Hopwood, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 20, 1939 in Wheeling, WV daughter of the late Thomas Riggle and Marion Grant Riggle.
Carolyn was a 1957 graduate of Tridelphia High School. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Carolyn previously worked at Hess’s Department Store and Bon Ton. She also worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Left to cherish Carolyn’s memory are her loving husband of 65 years, Glenn Porter of Hopwood; son Glenn “Chip” Porter and wife Marla of Butler, PA; daughters, Lori Porter of Hopwood and Susan Bondarenka and husband Charles of Uniontown; sisters, Kay Coulter of Mentor on the Lake, OH and Terri Helt and husband Thomas of Elm Grove, WV; grandchildren, Chaz (Tara) Bondarenka, Casey Bondarenka and Brittany and Jessica Porter; great grandchildren, Cash and Emilia Bondarenka; sister-in-law, Amelia Porter of OH and many, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. Services will be private for the family.
