Abraham Lincoln “The Old Man” Sullivan, age 72, of Uniontown, died, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 due to an auto accident. He was born May 17, 1948 in Uniontown, PA, the son of Todd Sullivan and Mildred Scott Sullivan. In addition to his parents, Lincoln is preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and John Sullivan; two sister, Freda Frazier and Dorothy Pierce.
Link graduated from North Union High School with the Class of 1966 then enlisted in U.S. Army as a combat medic and serviced during Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He worked as a blast furnace worker for Duquesne Steel. Abe was a member of American Legion Lafayette Post 51, North Union VFW Post 8543. Lincoln enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, traveling all over the country and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish The Old Man’s memory are his loving wife of fifty years, Darlene Mitchell Sullivan; a daughter, Beverly Christine Sullivan of Connellsville; a son, Abe L. Sullivan and wife Christina of Newell, PA; seven grandchildren, Justin Sullivan, Abraham L. Sullivan, III, Deborah Camp, Cheyenne Landman, Laci Sullivan and Ciera Sullivan; and five great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Andrew D Ferguson Funeral Home & Crematories, Inc, 80 Morgantown St, Uniontown, PA 15401, where family and friends will be received on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 2 until 4 PM and 6 until 8 PM with a celebration of The Old Man’s life at 8 PM with Pastor Melissa Snyder officiating. General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood. Interment will be private.
