Earlene Hawk Broadwater Batis, age 73, of Uniontown passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 20, 1949 in Uniontown daughter of the late Eugene T. Hawk and Betty Hillen Hawk.
Earlene was a 1967 graduate of Fairchance Georges High School. She attended Mount Moriah Baptist Church. Earlene previously worked in customer service at Uniontown Mall. She was an avid Steelers Fan.
Left to cherish Earlene’s memory are son, Thomas B. Broadwater, wife Lori and grandson Carson of Uniontown; step-daughter Kathryn Batis of Martinsburg, WV; brother, Barry E. Hawk and partner Alice of Uniontown; nephew, Barry Hawk, Jr. and wife Kristen of Smithfield; cherished cousin, Donna Redman and husband Don of Fayette City; cousin Martin Urban and wife Pamela of Brownsville; cousin Kurt Spiker and partner Terri of Smithfield and cousin Daniel Spiker and wife Rachel of Severin, MD.
Arrangements has been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where the family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 28th from 5 until 7 p.m. and on Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a service celebrating Earlene’s life at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Tanner officiating. Interment will be private.
