Tab M. Softa, 63, of Hopwood passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at home. He was born March 26, 1959 in Uniontown, son of the late Joseph Softa and Ann Bunda Softa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Softa.
Tab was a 1977 graduate of Uniontown High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator.
Left to cherish Tab’s memory are his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Johnson Softa of Hopwood; step-son, Larry Wise, Jr. and wife Rachael of Cambridge, MD; brothers Mark Softa and wife Jen and Joseph Softa, and wife Phyllis both of Uniontown, and Mickey Softa of Keisterville; sister, Arlene Softa of Keisterville and grandchildren, Bentley and Bri Wise.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 31st from 5 until 7 p.m. followed by a blessing service celebrating Tab’s life at 7:00 p.m. with Father Alvin Aberion as Officiant. Interment will be private.
