Steven R. Bacho, Jr., age 96, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Uniontown Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 25, 1925 in Smock, PA son of the late Steven Bacho, Sr. and Mary Vratarich Bacho. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Bach and sisters, Evelyn Rose and Mildred Miliai.
Steve was retired from the United States Navy having served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of AMVETS Post #103, American Legion Post 51, VFW Post 8543, Moose Lodge 20 and Hutchinson Sportsman’s Club.
Left to cherish Steve’s memory are his wife, Sheryl M. Burley Bacho; sons, John Bacho of Hopwood and Steve Bacho of Pittsburgh; daughter, Helen Bacho of Coolspring and two sisters, Sheryl and Frances.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA where family will received friends on Thursday, September 2nd from Noon until 1:00 p.m. followed by a Blessing Service celebrating Steve’s life at 1:00 p.m.
Military Rites will be accorded by the AMVETS Post #103 of Hopwood.
