Mary Ella Good, age 77 of Uniontown passed away February 3, 2025 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born May 21, 1947, daughter of the late Thomas and Elaine Leasher.
Mary Ella was born in Pennsylvania but was raised in Stuart, Florida where she graduated from Martin County High School. She moved back to Pennsylvania after graduation and met Vincent while working at the Uniontown Hospital. They married June 22, 1967. Mary Ella had a 23 year career at the Uniontown Hospital in the laboratory and registration/admissions.
Mary Ella enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing Wordfeud, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Vincent of 57 years, daughter Kimberly O’Brien (Chris), son V. Shawn Good, grandchildren Jordan and Braeden O’Brien, brother Thomas Leasher (Cathy), and her extended family of Carolyn Jacobs and Claudia Chisler.
Our family wishes to acknowledge and thank all of the staff at Encompass and Amedisys Home Health and Hospice that provided the utmost in professional and courteous care to all of the family and our loved one.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. In honoring Mary Ella’s wishes, there will be no public visitation.
Donations in memory of Mary Ella can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mary Ella, you will be missed by all who loved you. I have memories of you and I when we were 14 and all the silly things we did. I remember when your father took us to a Jai Alai game in West Palm Beach. We were 16, all dressed up and thought we were so grown.
