Lavina Lois Nelson Rockwell, age 86, of Stow, Ohio went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, June 4, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in North Union Township, Uniontown, PA on August 4, 1934 daughter of the late Albert Nelson and Lavina Lois Clements Nelson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Ray Rockwell, Sr.
Lois was a 1952 graduate of North Union High School. She and her husband Alan were the owner/operators of Bethesda Christian Store.
Left to cherish Lois’s memory are her children, Alan R. Rockwell, Jr. of Stow, OH and Eric N. Rockwell and wife Rene of Stow, OH; grandchildren, Ian Christopher Rockwell, Nicole Rene Clayton and husband Corrin, Erin Michelle and Natalie Ann Rockwell; great grandsons, Lucas Arthur Clayton and Griffin Clayton and sister, Lena C. Nelson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 8, 2021 from 4 until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 9th in the funeral home from 11 a.m. until noon followed by a service celebrating Lois’s life at noon with Pastor Mark Sholtis officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
