Joyce M. Falconi Blaho, age 72, of Uniontown passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in UPMC Mercy Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on January 15, 1947 in Charleroi, PA the daughter of the late James Falconi and Estelle Stankiewicz Falconi.
Joyce was a 1964 graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School and attended California State Teachers College. She taught two years at St Dominck School in Donora; PA and retired as a Retail Sales Executive at the Uniontown Newspapers. Joyce loved spending time with her family. She loved to read, watch the Pittsburgh Pirates and having lunch with her friends from the newspaper.
Left to cherish Joyce’s memory are her husband of fifty years, Thomas J. Blaho, III; her two children, T.J. Blaho of Uniontown and Megan Blaho and finace` Jeff Nutter of Brownsville, PA; two grandchildren, Taryn and Jadyn Blaho; a great grandchild, Tarian Blaho; a brother, Vincent Falconi and wife Mary of Brandon, Ms: a sister, Patricia Sarosi of Orient, OH; a niece, Jena Falconi; four nephews, Jamie Sarosi and wife Tonya, John Sarosi, Vincent Falconi and David Falconi and his wife Nikki; two great nephews, Anthony and Drew Sarosi; brother-in-law, Russ Blaho and wife Bobbi and their children, Russell and Shea.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. where family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM. Viewing will continue on Monday, November 11, 2019 in the funeral home from 8:30 until 9:30 when prayers of transference will be held followed by a funeral mass celebrating Joyce’s life in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown. Interment will be private.
