Joseph VanDivner, age 64, of Brownsville, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born April 15, 1958 in Brownsville, son of the late James William VanDivner and Mildred Dirkin VanDivner. In add to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Thomas VanDivner and sister, Ruth Ann Bundy.
Joseph worked as an Independent Trucker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. His greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish Joseph’s memory are his wife, Kimberly Bowen VanDivner of Brownsville; sons, Joseph VanDivner, Jr. (Devon Ferguson) of Brownsville, Thomas VanDivner (Ashley Hough) of New Salem and Joshua VanDivner (Nicole) of Belle Vernon; brothers, Albert VanDivner (Bonnie), Harry VanDivner (Candy Foster) and James VanDivner all of Brownsville; sisters, Mildred Patton (Logan) of Cleveland, OH and Alice Lisanti (Sam) of Pittsburgh and grandchildren, Chalee VanDivner, Alayna VanDivner, Destiny VanDivner, Dylan VanDivner and Gabe VanDivner.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 30th from 2 until 5 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a service celebrating Joseph’s life at 11:00 a.m. with officiating. Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery.
