Jeffrey “Jeff” M. Ansell, age 46, of Connellsville, PA, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at home. He was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA on December 2, 1973 son of Harry James Ansell and Sandra Freed Ansell.
Jeff was a 1992 graduate of Connellsville High School and attended Pittsburgh University. He was employed in the warehouse at UPS. Jeff was an avid reader, he enjoyed creating and painting figurines and keeping up with current events. He loved animals. Jeff loved his niece and nephew and enjoyed spending time with them.
In additional to his parents, left to cherish Jeff’s memory are his brother Jonathan Scott Ansell and Jamie Junk of Waltersburg; sister Melinda Sue “Mindy” Ansell of Uniontown and his niece and nephews, Lauren, Stephen and Corey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. At the request of the family there will be no public viewing.

My heart aches for all of you and I wish I could be there to hug you (darn Covid). Jeff was such a precious kid with such a great smile. I’ll always remember how Jeff and Jon loved Mark. I can remember how excited Mark would be when “Nef and Non” were coming to visit. It was Mark’s idea to name his baby brother Jeffrey Jon better known as JJ. Jeff was a wonderful nephew. I had the pleasure and honor of seeing him grow up from a small baby to a wonderful man. He and his brother Jon were very close to us as his Mom Sandi is my wife’s sister. We were so close to Jeff and Jon that we named our 3rd child JJ after them (Jeffrey Jon).
