Elma J. Zahand Duda age 79 of Uniontown passed away September 13, 2020 in Cherry Tree Nursing Center. She was born in Brownsville, PA on February 13, 1941 daughter of D.A. Zahand and Leota Reilly Zahand. In addition to her parents, Elma was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryan Duda; two sisters, Marilee Stathers and Ellen Balchock. Elma enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocketing, watching the Dr. Pol show and taking care of and spending time with her loving family. Left to cherish Elma’s memory are two sons, Robert W. Duda and fiancé, Christine Layman of Dunbar and F. Douglas Duda of Brownsville; two daughters, Mary Henry and husband Joe of Rockwood and Michelle Ann Maraugha and fiancé John Hardibee of Fayette City, PA; three grandchildren, Brittany Duda, Tiffany and Michelle Lynn Maraugha; two great grandchildren, Remmie Hall and Alexis Porterfield; companion, William Priester of Uniontown and x-daughter-in-law, Patrica Morrison of Uniontown; and special pet, Snoppy. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 until 4 PM and 6 until 8 PM. Visitation will continue Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10 until 11 AM followed by a blessing service celebrating Elma’s life at 11 AM.
