Charlotte Ruth Havlichek Edenfield, age 94, of Harrisburg, PA and formerly of Uniontown, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 3, 1931 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of the late Charles Havlichek and Pauline Kermes Havlichek. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Melvin B. Edenfield and sisters, Nancy Havlichek, June Morrow and Eleanor Stambaugh.
Charlotte was a 1949 graduate of Uniontown High School and received a Medical Technician degree from Franklin School of Science & Arts. She was a member of Road to Emmaus Presbyterian Church and AARP.
Left to cherish Charlotte’s memory are her daughters, Jane Stimmel and husband Ben of Harrisburg and Susan Butler of Uniontown; grandchildren, Sara Carbaugh and husband, Jason, Robert Stimmel and Harold Butler and great grandchildren, Bryanna Stimmel, Madison Carbaugh, Jason Carbaugh and Jenia Diggs.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 13th from 3 until 6 p.m. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Wednesday, May 14th from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a service celebrating Charlotte’s life at 11:00 AM with Pastor Patrick Ewing officiating. Internment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
