Yvonne F. “Minnie” Koast, age 76, of Smock, PA passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2023 in the Uniontown Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 20, 1947 in Smock, PA the daughter of Andrew Croftcheck and Martha Sumey Croftcheck. In addition to her parents, Minnie is preceded in death by two brother, George Croftcheck and Andrew Croftcheck, Jr.
Minnie was a graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School with the class of 1965. She then started working for Rockwell International as fabricator and retired as a foreman. Minnie managed the Honey Bear Sunoco Station in Perryopolis until her retirement. She enjoyed going to Estate sales, auctions, traveling, her pets, and spending time with family.
Left to cherish Minnie’s memory are a son, Joseph Koast and fiancé Mary Jo Williams of Smock; a daughter, Cathlene Wardall and husband Jeff of Eighty-Four, PA; a grandson, Nathaniel Wardall; two brothers, Tom Croftcheck and wife Judy of Muskogee, OK and Calvin Croftcheck of Smock; a sister, Jean Valosich of Smock and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. Interment will be private at her request.
