William Joseph Sellong, age 84, of Uniontown, PA, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 in the WVU Uniontown Hospital.  He was born June 5, 1940 in Coolspring, PA, son of the late John Sellong and Anna Dursa Sellong.

Bill graduated from North Union High School with the class of 1958. He served in the United States Navy.  Bill was a welder at Fruehauf until his retirement. He was a member of St. John Byzantine Church, North Union VFW Post # 8534, Hutchison Sportsmans Club, Catholic War Veterans and United Steel Workers Local #15101.

Left to cherish Bill’s memory is his son, William J. Sellong and wife, Nickoleen of Hopwood; his daughter, Theresa Harr and husband Russell of Connellsville; grandchildren, Ashley, Mindy, Amanda and Cassidy; great grandchildren, Peyton, Charlotte and Victor; and a brother, Emil Sellong of Ligonier, PA.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA, where friends will be received on Wednesday from 3 until 5 and 7 until 9 PM. Viewing will continue in the funeral home on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 9 until 10 followed by a service celebrating Bill’s life and 10 AM with Father Kyprian Wojciechowski as celebrant. Military rites will be accorded by AMVETS Post #103 in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
