Suzanne Seeman King, age 94, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 13, 1929 in Uniontown, daughter of the late Paul R. Seeman and Mary Zundel Seeman. In addition to her parents Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Harvey C. King, Jr.; son, Harvey C. King, III; and brother, Paul R. Seeman, Jr.
Suzanne was a 1947 graduate of Uniontown High School and a 1951 graduate of Drexel University. She was employed by the Uniontown Hospital for 25 years, working as a dietician. Suzanne was a member of Third Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Deacon, and various church committees and was a member of the Grace Bible Class. She was also a volunteer for the American Heart Association, Meals on Wheels, and Interfaith Caregivers.
Left to cherish Suzanne’s memory are her children, Mary Partyka of Uniontown, Thomas R. King and wife Kelley of State College, PA, Janie Harkins and Jeffrey S. King and wife, Teresa both of Uniontown; daughter-in-law Stephanie King of Uniontown; sister, Paulette D’Andrea; grandchildren, Sarah McLean, Lydia Partyka, David Partyka, Timothy Partyka, Jennie Reese, Bradley King, Kayla Jensen, Beth Guty, Michael Sylvester, Joel Harkins, Madelyn King, Meredith King, Liam King, and Luke King; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA, where family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM. Viewing will continue in the Third Presbyterian Church on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10 until 11 AM followed by a service celebrating Suzanne’s life at 11 AM with Pastor Patrick Ewing officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
