Shirley Klein Mundel, age 93, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in The Suites at Hertiage Point, Morgantown, WV. She was the daughter of Milton Klein and Fae Greenstein Klein. In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin S. Mundel and her son, Mark Mundel.
Left to cherish Shirley’s memory are her son, Randy Mundel of Uniontown; her two twin grandsons, Alex Mundel of New York, NY and Ben Mundel and wife Elizabeth of Washington, DC; three great grandchildren, Adam, Ethan and Zoey and many, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Shirley graduated from Taylor – Alderdice High School, was a former member of the Tree of Life Synagogue of Uniontown. Her family was her life.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. A graveside service celebrating Shirley’s life will be held in the Holy Society Cemetery, Bennington Road, Hopwood, PA on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 12 PM with Rabbi Leonard Sarko officiating.
