Mary E. Kohler, 88, of Uniontown, passed away Friday January 12, 2024 at Lafayette Manor. She was born on December 16, 1935 in Betheleham, PA, the daughter of the late John Erkinger and Naomi Ruch Erkinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald F. Kohler, Jr., son, Ronald D. Kohler; daughter, Debra A. Kohler; brother, Jackie Erkinger and sister, Francis Duh.
Mary was a seamstress for many years, she really enjoyed knitting more than anything. Mary loved baking Christmas cookies so thin that her family couldn’t stop eating them. She loved her family above all and was an amazing mother and person. She was there for anyone that needed her.
Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her daughter, Patricia Heckman; brother, John Erkinger of Bath, PA; sister, Betty Fenstaker of Hellertown, PA; two grandchildren, Heather Felgar and husband Mark of Dunbar and Christopher Heckman and wife Melissa of Easton; two great grandchildren, Savannah Heckman and Josephine Heckman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA where services will be private per Mary’s request.
