Mark W. Upole, 65 of McClellandtown, died Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born February 25, 1958 in Uniontown, a son of Dorcas Grimm Upole of McClellandtown, PA and the late Frank Upole.
Mark was a graduate of German High School with the class of 1976. He was employed by Sensus Technologies, Inc as a mold repairman for forty-eight years of faithful service. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working on his farm and spending time with family.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Virginia Bloom Upole; a son, Eric Upole and wife Lauri of McClellandtown; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Upole, Hunter Upole Cole and husband Johnathan; a great grandson, Flynn; three brothers, Marty Upole of McClellandtown, Mike Upole and wife, Leslie of Glenn Burnie, MD, Mickey Upole and wife Kelley of Masontown; two sisters, Mandi Cerullo and husband Scott of Adah, PA, Mindy Graham of McClellandtown; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his hunting buddy and best friend, Rick Lemro.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematories, Inc, 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, where family will receive friends on Monday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM. Viewing will continue in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 10 until 11 AM followed by a service celebrating Marks life at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
