Lena Catharine Pukl joined the church triumphant on July 4, 2019, at the end of a long and productive life during which she touched the lives of many friends and family members.
Born on December 12, 1926, Lena was a Uniontown, PA native and practically a life member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Living in Columbia, SC since 2016, she joined and attended Providence Presbyterian Church.
Devoted throughout her life to her family, she is survived by her loving son Joseph M. Pukl, Jr., daughter-in-law Gail Pukl, grandson Joseph M. Pukl, III, grandson William B. Pukl and his wife Dee and great grand-daughter Anna Grace Pukl, all of Columbia, SC. Lena is also survived by her brother, Howard Seehoffer, his wife Sue, and their son Scott Seehoffer, all of Uniontown.
Lena was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Joseph M. Pukl, Sr., her mother Anna Johanna Seehoffer, her father Gustav Adolph Seehoffer and numerous sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
