Jerrold “Doc” R. Holliday, age 71 of Smithfield passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 in Bella Health Center. He was born in Uniontown, PA on November 15, 1952; the son of Harold Holliday and Nora Henry Holliday. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Holliday and Mary Pat Leichtling Parker.
Jerrold was a graduate of Saint John’s High School with the Class of 1970 and then from Steubenville College in 1974. He sold cars for many years in Franklin, PA then at Region Buick in Uniontown. Jerrold then worked as a Quality Control Officer at Berkeley Medical Resources, Inc. until his retirement.
He was a Past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O. Elks Lodge # 110 of Franklin, PA. Jerrold was catholic by faith. He was a political, sport and music enthusiast.
Left to cherish Jerrold’s memory are a daughter, Jennifer Moran and husband Randall of Huntington, NC; four grandchildren, Amanda, Austin, Eva and Davis Moran; a nephew, Kirk Holliday and wife Holly of Farmington, PA and their children, Mason and Owen and many family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA., where friends will be received on Monday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM. Viewing will continue in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 9 until 10 AM followed a blessing service at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Saint Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Leisenring, PA.
