Jerome D. Lowery

Jerome D. Lowery, age 82, of Uniontown, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in Uniontown Hospital with his loving family at his side.  He was born August 21, 1942 in Republic, PA son of the late Albert Lowery and Angela Molek Lowery.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Lowery.

 

Jerome was a 1960 graduate of Uniontown High School.  He was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church and he served in the United States Army Reserves.  Jerome was a Superintendent at Hillman Barge in Brownsville.  He was a member of Fairchance Gun Club and Hutchinson Sportsman’s Club.  Jerome enjoyed shooting and race cars.

 

Left to cherish Jerome’s memory are his loving wife, Mary Beth Dague Lowery of Uniontown; son, Tony Lowery (Jodi) of Uniontown; daughters Renee McLay (Rich) and Darlene Agostini (Weeger) all of Uniontown; nine grandchildren, Louis, Christina, Vincent and Nicholas Agostini, Alec, Evan and Caleigh McLay and Anthony Lowery and Allison Schomer; great granddaughter, Esther Rhea and many nieces and nephews.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 6th from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. followed by a service celebrating Jerome’s life at 11:00 AM with Rev. Anthony Lowery             officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery.

 

Military rites will be accorded by AMVETS Post 103.
