James M. Krese, Jr., age 74, of Fairchance, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 in Uniontown Hospital. He was born June 5, 1949 in Washington, PA son of Mary Ludvik Krese and the late James M. Krese, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Andrew Krese.
James was a 1968 graduate of Union County High School in Morganfield, KY and was a graduate of ITT in Evansville, IN. He worked for Peabody Coal Mining Company. James was active at the Community Action Senior Center. He enjoyed playing chess and helping others.
Left to cherish James’ memory are his mother, Mary Krese of Uniontown, PA; sisters, Beverly “Bunny” Gwynn (Geoff) of Chalk Hill, PA and Mary Jayne Jacaruso (Joe) of Chalk Hill, PA and brothers, Dr. Jospeh G. Krese (Laura) of Summersville, WV, Timorthy J. Krese (Wendy) of Lexington, SC, Dr. David L. Krese (Gail) of Charlottesville, VA, fourteen nephews and nieces and thirteen great-nephews and great-nieces.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA and are private for the family.
