David Lee Belt age 72 of Uniontown, PA died suddenly in his home on 2/2/25. He was born in Fairmont, WV on 2/3/52 to the late Oliver J. Belt and Elizabeth Hibbs Belt.
David was a 1970 graduate of Fairmont Senior High. He was a former employee of Consol Coal at the Loveridge Mine in WV. He finished his working career with First Energy.
Dave enjoyed fishing, golfing, tying fishing lures and a good cigar.
David is survived by 3 children, Jon, Kim and Robert Belt. A sister Sharon Fleming (James) of Fairmont, WV, Neice and nephew Erin McVicker (Nathan) and children of Fairmont WV and Shaun Fleming (Jenny) and children of Bridgeport, WV. He is also survived by many good friends and neighbors.
David will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA. Per David’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no service. He will be interred at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown, WV.
