Charlotte Moline King of Uniontown passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at the Gathering Place. She was born January 13, 1928 in Dawson, PA daughter of the now late, Walter P. Moline and Nellie Herbert Moline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sara B. Moline in 1996 and her brother, Charles H. Moline in 1987. Charlotte was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Charlotte graduated from the former Dunbar Township High School in 1946. She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church. On November 6, 1953 she married Howard Dale King, who went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2006.
Left to cherish Charlotte’s memory are her daughter, Lori Fawley of LaBelle, PA; six grandchildren, Jason, James, Rachael, Mikie, Destiny and Tiffany, whom Charlotte raised until she was 12 years old; and several great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA, where family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 1st from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Sunday from 1 until 2 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Charlotte’s life at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Handley officiating. Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery on Monday.
