Beverly Jean Evans Sapp, age 68 of Masontown passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Uniontown Hospital. She was born September 30, 1953 in McKeesport daughter of the late Harry Evans and Sylvia Swaney Zunko. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two baby boys and sisters Carol Kay Snyder, Helen Brown and Joy Zunko.
Beverly worked for the Fayette County Housing Authority and as a care giver through Area Agency on Aging and Children and Youth Services. She was a member of the Evangelistic Ministries of Masontown.
Left to cherish Beverly’s memory are her daughters, Kimberly Lucille Rusnak (Bryan) of Ellsworth, PA, Melissa Ann Bennett (Paul) of LaBelle, PA, Aperial Lynn Evans Furlong and friendJames A. Howard, Jr. of Filbert; brothers Danzel Hickle and John “Beanie” Zunko, Jr.; sister, Melanie Evans Ponist of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Shayne Rusnak (Halie Snyder), Brandon Rusnak (Carmen), Ethan Bennett, Morgan Wolfe, Ava Wolfe, Noah-Lee Evans, Nathan Sapp (Cassandra) and Tyler Wolfe and five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREAMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where friends will be received on Monday, January 24th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Beverly’s life at 1:00 p.m.
