More About Us Andrew D. Ferguson Jr.was born in 1940 in Uniontown and graduated from Uniontown High School in 1958. After a tour of duty in the U.S. Army, he attended Grove City College and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. With over 35 years experience as a funeral director, A.D. Ferguson has served on the legislative committee of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors and was the past president of the Southwestern and Greater Uniontown Funeral Directors Association. He was also named Father of the Year in 1976 by the Herald/Standard Newspaper for his devotion to his wife Sandy and his four sons. He continues to work on late model stock cars. Jack McFaddenwas born in 1926, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, serving in the pacific theater until he was honorably discharged in 1946. After graduating with honors from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1948, Jack became a funeral director in 1951 at the Ferguson Funeral Home, supervised from 1960 to 1963, directed from 1967 to 1987, and continues to work as needed after retiring in 1996. Jack has been married since 1956 to his wife Betty and is blessed with three children and seven grandchildren. Andrew D. Ferguson IIIwas born in 1963 in Uniontown. After serving in the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1987 in the 1st Special Forces Group, he joined his father at the Ferguson Funeral Home.
